About Me
Hello this is Think Society. This nom de plume of mine is just a cry out loud for what I intend the society (read the Indian society) to be like. Although it seems like a judgemental or even a patronising take on the current nature of the society, I find it fitting because the nature and tone of my posts will generally be varying between rants, argumentation and heartfelt suggestions. And the endgame for me has always been promoting the democratic art of argumentation in India to make the society more wholesome - so much so that it'll make Amartya Sen proud.
I am an IITD alum and still a student who likes to learn, read a bit, and listen a lot to people who are and have been much much more intelligent than me. I didn't work because I have been preparing for UPSC CSE for quite some time now (without success till now smh :|). But the habit of mine to come back to conversations I've had with people around me, dwelling on ideas and reading quite a bit of pop philosophy and pop psychology has brought me ideas and observations that I'd like to share. And this in entirety is the purpose of this blog.
My aim will be to bring these ideas in as unfiltered a way as possible, in a narrative similar to the OG stream of consciousness of authors like James Joyce or Virginia Woolf, but much simpler and to the point. I think my writing tends to be a bit wordy at times, so it'll be my aim to be clear and not clever, yet bring insights that might lead to interesting takeaways for the society and the human condition in general. I also try to remain up to date with the latest happenings and examples in my blog posts so that the relevance of the posts remain high for the esteemed readers - the entire four or five of them.
My endeavour is to ensure maximum value to the reader without making my essays a drone. Get ready to be dazzled and exhilarated my dear readers. Or just get ready to barely make it through the entirety of my written word. Please read my work. And do leave comments or feedbacks wherever. They will always be acknowledged, appreciated and valued. Much love.
Happy reading!
